Folate plays an essential role in the production of red blood cells, and its deficiency can lead to anemia.ABfol Tablet should be taken in dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine without consultation of doctor. This medicine is to be swallowed as a whole and taken with or without food. It is not to be chewed or crushed.The common side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, bitter taste, confusion, change in taste, hyperactivity, excitement, impaired concentration, and impaired judgment.
